Historic Georgetown SC is filled with things to do! Whether you are on a romantic get away or traveling with children and the family, you will find plenty of fun and educational things to do. There are art classes for adults and kids at the Cultural Council, and Rice Museum. Concerts often take place in Francis Marion Park on Front St, the Kaminski House Museum and the Winyah Bay Auditorium. In the summer months, you can sign your child up for the Youth Sailing Program at the SC Maritime Museum. There are also free movies in the Rainey park every third Friday in June, July and August. This is a wonderful cozy theater that shows quality indie movies & documentaries. It is also home to the Swamp Fox players where they perform plays and musicals throughout the year.
Winyah Auditorium

The historic Winyah Auditorium was built in 1908 and is on the National Register. This performance venue seats 300 people and is conveniently located in downtown Georgetown.
