Okra Stew Book Fest! - November 18th

Join us for Okra Stew Book Fest with children’s book author and artist Natalie Daise from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, November 18th at the Gullah Museum in Georgetown! “Okra Stew: A Gullah Geechee Family Celebration” is a joyous picture book that celebrates a special day of father-son cooking, and serves up a love letter to food, family, Gullah Geechee culture, and tradition—and includes the author's own okra stew recipe!

Natalie is going to do a book reading, signing, and meet and greet! (We’ll have books for sale or bring your own.) Enjoy Gullah Geechee food trucks, Mr. Ron’s Gullahlicious Pound Cakes pop-up, music, and more!
