THE WOODEN BOAT SHOW INVITES YOU TO SAVOR THE ARTS

On Thursday October 16th from 5pm until 7:30pm the Georgetown Wooden  Boat Show is presenting “WALK THE ARTS ON FRONT” in celebration of the show’s  25th anniversary.

Art galleries all along Front Street will be showcasing local art and artists  demonstrating the scope of talent surrounding us in Georgetown.  Many stores will  also be open after hours to welcome shoppers to “sip and savor” in celebration. A  sampling of the stores are the Maritime Museum, Sly Fox, Tuck’s, Harbor Specialties,  Miss Liizzies, Benvenue, Rice Birds, Green Bean, Sweeties Sweets and Waterfront  Books.  Many restaurants such as the River Room, Rice Paddy and Coffee Break will  welcome participants.Mark your calendars, plan to stay in town for dinner, look for the complete  list of stores and restaurants; and join in this art filled kick-off for the Wooden Boat  Show’s 25th year!
