A new event, The Wooden Boat Show Scavenger Scrabble Contest will take place from Monday October 13 through Friday October 17.  Ten local shops on Front Street will have nautical flag cards on hand depicting the letter of the alphabet that that flag represents.
 
Participants may collect one card per shop, and the winner will be determined on Saturday October 19th based upon the word spelled with the highest scrabble letter count.  Collect 10 by visiting all ten shops! The prize will be a book on the nautical history of Georgetown.
 
Entry Forms may be picked up at The SC Maritime Museum, 729 Front Street in Georgetown beginning Monday October 13th.  A list of participating merchants will be provided.
